Future Bear Hunter

My cousin Kyle killed a bear with his bow--it was so cool! My cousin James and my uncle Randall helped him skin it, he said I had to wait a couple years before I can help. It scared Kinley and made her cry--she's such a girl!

    Well done on the toughness. We Beard's do not cry in the face of bears. We punch them in the nose!

    Now, this may be my city ignorance, but what does one do with a bear upon skinning? Can you eat the thing?? I would eat it! Also, I think I would like some bear paw moccasins if the paws have yet to be claimed. Please see if you can put that in motion for me.

    Emery I can not believe you are sooooo brave! I guess you are going to be the hunter in the family. Maybe when you and Kinley get a little older you can help her not to be afraid. Love, Grandma
